Day 1 Week 1 you have finally started US Navy SEAL Training better known as Basic Underwater Demolition School. In this group of classes, we focus on the ability to learn a skill and the ability to do said skill under HUGE stress. In the class behind me, two people died in the swimming pool, so it is very real. Let’s get you ready to go toe to toe with the beast and win!
3.0 First Phase Breakdown
Let’s talk 1st Phase and eliminate all the fear of the unknown on Day 1 Week 1. We will only worry about what we are doing right now, nothing in the future. We live by the four tenants!!!!

3.24 Taking Muster LIGHTNING FAST
Taking muster is the number one thing that leaders do in training. Learn how we do it in 20 seconds at the longest, when you get up to speed it will take you 10 seconds.
3.29 Wet Suit
You are cold a lot, this piece of equipment is pivotal to you passing 2-mile open water swims.
3.40 Runs
Running is #1, you better understand what you have to do to be successful. Things are getting tight at BUDS and runs are a huge cause of candidates ringing the bell!

This can be a stressful evolution but if you have a plan as a class, everyone will be fine.
3.87 50 Meter Underwater Swim
You will see people pulled out of the pool unconscious. If you prepare this will be easy, if not good luck.
3.95 Hell Week
